...I hereby declare this to be the official topic for discussion of that uni (heh heh).

I've already been accepted, despite having gotten every single letter grade on my report card - for junior and senior years only, since I got no less than a B+ my first two years. It must have been that 1450 SAT, I tell you...

Anyway, I'm from Illinois, and it seems that I'll be in for a culture shock, however slight or drastic.

So, Oregonians, what do you think of this university?

I got accepted as well and I will be visiting it at the end of March, staying in Portland for a few days. I am from NJ. Hope it will be fun in Portland visiting it.

You're from NJ? Why are you coming to Oregon? Oh dear god why? I'll trade you places.

lol aww I like Portland

PSU....i've gotten so much crap from them in the mail...I WISH IT'D ALL GO AWAY.....
lol
anyhow- i was thinking of going there then transfering, lol
but then again...i live in Oregon....i agree w/ legendofmax....WHY THE HECK DO YOU WANNA COME TO OREGON?!

I dunno why I chose your city, but I've heard it's a culinary paradise.

It's very pretty, especially at night. The water, the buildings...it's a cute little city :p

Portland rules. you don't need a car to get around. it does not get too hot in the summer, and they don't have the 7 feet of snow other places get inthe winter. and it's a very progressive town.

That may be true to an extent, but maybe I am jaded because I've lived in Oregon all my life.
