My friends and I from NUS High write a blog called College Talk. We’ve added quite a lot of useful information about visa apps, preparing to go overseas, and college life. Check it out: [CollegeTalk: A blog for NUS High students, from NUS High seniors](http://nushscollegetalk.blogspot.com/)

And I really like the undergraduate focus in Princeton. Which would make the grade deflation worth it, because the education I’d get would surpass any at other schools and an ‘A’ would mean so much more. Besides, grad schools realize the grade deflation policy in Princeton and take into account the lower GPA when considering grad school apps.
But Columbia has the Core, which includes classics and theatre which I’ve never studied before and look forward to taking with the whole cohort.

screwitlah, have you found your time at Princeton to be fun? rigorous? enlightening?

X had a very successful second term. His teachers are impressed by his effort, diligence and attainment. X’s strengths are his analytical thinking skills, his willingness to ask critical questions and his enthusiasm in debates. He was part of the organization team of the Model United Nation conference at out college and contributed with his talent in logistic and good spirit for team work. X is looking for challenges and comes to life when he can apply his skills. It is great to see him more and more engaged in extra-curricular activities and student initiative, like the Focus organized by Asian students. He is maturing with the variety of experiences at the college and I am looking forward to see his progress next year.

This was what my teacher wrote about me for my end of term report, and he asked me whether there was anything that i wanted to add…Would your recommend anything to add or change to make it that bit more special when it comes to applying to the states? gotta utilise every possible opprotunity since we are all asians and it is undoubtedly harder to get inside as compared to someone else…

^ I don’t think what is written on the EOT/EOY report matters - unless that is the exact language that will be used in the recommendation forms.

i mean, dont the universities look at the end of term report too if you apply to the states? because of the difference in the time that the school starts and also because of the fact that i may decide to apply during NS? so, i was wondering, should there be anymore things to sound really good?
and yes, that would more or less the language that will be used in the recommendation forms…
