i'm thinking RD no chance at all but maybe perhaps just possibly SCEA

Your SAT score is average, and it would be nice if you had taken your SAT II's already because you don't have much time between the time you take your SAT and the day EA apps are due. You have average chances in my opinion. What seem to be lacking are your extracurriculars. Either you don't have that many, or you're not mentioning them all. Furthermore, you don't seem to have many leadership positions. However, I think that your tutoring gives you a good chance to write an excellent essay, if you decide to write an essay about that.

I am planning on taking the SAT once more and I am pretty confident that I will score over 750 on math the next time giving me >2250 and over 1500 m +v. Would that greatly increase my chances and make up for my weakness in ECs?

if you're planning on taking the SAT again, then october is really your only hope. even then, that only leaves november to take SAT II's, and yale says that they MAY NOT arrive in time. you're setting yourself up for disaster. i'd recommend taking your sat ii's first so if something goes wrong, your app. isn't totally shot.

yeah i was going to do that, math iic and lit wont be too tough, it's just the third one i'm not sure about

for the third i'll be taking either latin, ushist, or world hist. i havent decided yet. In class we've discussed U.S. up to the civil war (our school does the first half of IB Hist of Americas in 11th then post civil war to modern us hist in 12th grade which screwed me up), while in terms of world history the most i've had is world history honors in 9th grade and AP Euro so i'm not sure about those either. but i'm leaning towards latin or world hist.

i know nothing about the latin exam, as there is no prep or anything. has anyone taken it? how difficult is it if i've taken latin 1-3. our class has progressed to guided translations of horace and cicero, but w/o a latin dictionary i'm pretty hopeless.
