Hi... I'll be a student at Andover next year, and I received my housing form two days ago. I'm trying to chose between a single and a double. Pro/cons of each? Thoughts?
Thanks.

You will probably get a double, considering bow they are overenrolled.

Depends on what grade and gender. If boy and freshman, you have a high chance of getting a single, esp. If you request it. If girl and freshman, high chamce of double. Any other grade and gender, probs get a double

Well, from my summer school experience, I prefer a single.

Single room -
Pros:
- No arguing regarding what part of the room belongs to you, where can you put your stuff, etc
- You can put on music, watch videos, skype, without having to use headphones
- (If you’re a more conservative person) No need to go to the bathroom to change
- No one snoring or disturbing you

Cons:
- May get lonely at times
- No one to kill the bugs with you
- If you invite someone over to your room, that person has to sleep on the floor. If you have a double, and you invite someone over, they can use your roommate’s bed. (Assuming your roommate is at someone else’s room sleeping over)
