Any thoughts about single rooms at Colgate? Should my sister apply for one or stay in a double? Thanks
depends on your sister’s personality. is she disciplined enough to be able to study even if someone is there who wants to chat with her? or does she easily go with the peer pressure?
My sister is an introvert and is able to study on her own. She had randomly assigned roommates during her freshman year and they compatible. She is thinking about whether it is worth seeking a single as a sophomore.
She basically made use of the library to study. She does not easily go with peer pressure.
if she survived first year with roommates and did okay, i see no point in getting a single. one way to get a single is to be the RA. comes with responsibilities though.
