<p>honestly I think you should get a single. Yea i wouldn't want people to comment on medical conditions and the needles. Geez What a invasion of privacy in my opinion. Go for it.</p>

<p>You have to tell us where you are going to school...it's hard at some schools and super easy at others. A roommate is fun though! Just get your own fridge and take the medicine when your roommate is not around! Me and my roommate each have a mini fridge! If you really are set on a single just talk to the university housing office and explain your situation and im pretty sure you'll get one. its usually quite a bit more expensive though! Another option is getting a double with a bathroom attached which lots of schools offer. That way you have a roommate and a private bathroom connected to your room! If you had your own fridge all your problems would be solved! Seriously though, call the college, because no one on here can really tell you what your particular school is going to say. Everyone's college is different and so we're all just speculating... if its bothering you, ask someone who knows!</p>
