Single vs Double

no pets except if in a tank less than 10 gallons. anywhere. except eco house.

small dog in a 10 gallon tank...nice...

"Maybe the drinker / non-drinker. :P"

Then there would be ONE non-drinker dorm...they wouldn't be able to fill a low rise with them, lol

Anyway, I may have fish, since you're allowed a tank...I have fish at home, and it's a hobby of mine, so it may be nice to have. I bet a lot of people who have them are either homesick for their pets, or can't make friends, lol.

Donlon has a few singles.

Balch has bathrooms that are designated for males.

The only pets allowed in any of the campus life housing are fish in a small fish tank.

Like Court and Mews, the Low Rises also have a suite set up in which the suites are single gender but you could end up next door to a suite of the opposite gender.

While its very possible to make friends in a single, I am one of those ppl would recomend a double for your freshman year for the "experience".

single all the way. I'm in Dickson and everyone has singles (well most of us anyways). and its not anti-social at all. Infact, you're almost forced to meet everyone else. Plus it's also nice to have privacy whenever needed.
