SIR deadline

Hi everyone, this is probably a dumb question, but "by June 1st" means that we can submit our SIR on the day of June first, right? The parental units just want me to confirm this ;)

I’m wondering this too…

I’m pretty sure every school is different… I think I read that Davis was midnight but UCLA I want to say was 3p.m.?

I would check each school’s website individually… :)

kawad  …

I would never do it on the last day, simply because… what if your internet goes kaputz? What if something goes horribly wrong? Better to do it the day before or earlier. Just in case. :)

Don’t forget, what if the schools server go down for some weird reason? I remember the UC application system lagging because everyone was trying to get the forms in at the last minute.

I hope it’s midnight June 1. I got a call earlier this week saying my requested switch to a different college at UCSD was unlikely but if anything was going to happen they would call me again. Today I looked at my missed calls and saw UCSD called me again today, I called back and left a message but they didn’t get back to me, I’m going to e-mail also but due to memorial day I won’t hear anything till June 1 and what happens with regards to my request to switch college is a VERY VERY big factor on whether I’m going to SIR to UCSD this year, or finish up my math pre-reqs and try again for UCLA and CAL as Math/Econ or Applied math.

So it better be ON June 1 .

ya i hope this is true. so does everyone agree then that june 1 is okay? can we call to get an extension?

No you can not call to get an extension…

Not sure about this year but for last year (for UCD at least) it was the following according to the SIR page:

“The deadline to accept or decline your offer of enrollment on this Web site is 11:45 pm (Pacific Time) on June 1, 2009.”
