Has anyone sat in classes that they weren't taking, just because they found the course interesting and enjoyed the discussion of the professors even if they weren't enrolled in the class?

I’ve only done it for the larger lectures - I sat in the Computing in the Arts class. Professor Bailey is an amazing lecturer.

Many years ago, I did this.

If it’s a large class, just go. If it’s a smaller class, as a courtesy, ask the Professor for permission.

Wouldn’t just be auditing? Correct me if I’m wrong…

Undergraduates aren’t allowed to officially audit (at least in CAS). If it’s a large lecture, you’re probably fine to sit in. If it’s small, definitely ask the professor, and probably expect huge pressure to enroll (and possible/probably denial of request).
