skidmore v. muhlenberg

hi! i'm a senior in high school about to make a big decision on where to apply ED round 2. i am very interested in studying theater with a concentration in directing or design/tech and i would like to double major in environmental stuides, or to be honest whatever else i find interesting. i have researched skidmore and muhlenberg and seen that they have good liberal arts theater programs. however, i am having trouble figuring out which college is a better fit for me, assuming i get in to both. i was wondering if college students at either college could describe the theater programs to me, and tell me all about the colleges in general, aka what the people are like, how difficult the classes are, what the surrounding area is like. i have visited both schools, and i think both schools have very nice campuses. please let me know as soon as possible! thank you so much.

I don’t know much about the theater programs, but the surrounding areas are vey different. Not much happening in Allentown, to say the least. I think the area would be quite boring. How many times can you go to Dorney Park? On the other hand, at least you are only an hour away from Philly, if you have a car, you could go there for things to do. Saratoga Springs on the other hand is a tourist destination fillled with quaint shops and eateries. I’ve vacationed there twice and like it a lot! They have a big horse racing scene there, which is pretty cool. Also there is a good amount of theater and arts in Saratoga. If I were choosing based on location, Skidmore would win hands down!
