last saturday i was quite excited to receive my acceptance into the honors college and am looking forward to attending an accepted students day in april. there is much that i like about UVM and it is looking more and more as if i will attend in the fall. my only concern is that i do not ski, and UVM is certainly a school full of skiers. would this be a huge handicap on my social life, or would i be able to get by with very little hinderance as i suspect?
i would especially appreciate input from current students on this issue.

Don't worry, it's definitely not a problem if you don't ski. I have just as many friends who don't ski than I have who are total ski bums. Lots of people head out to the mountains when there's a good snowfall, but the campus will always have tons of people hanging around so I doubt you'll have any problem with that. It's totally not an issue that you should be worried about. Congrats on your acceptance to UVM, hope you enjoy it here!
