Math has always been my best subject...I usually can grasp mathematical concepts fast and have never had to study for math (except proofs in Geometry..those were awful for me).

This is the math I've taken:
7th: Pre-Algebra
8th: Algebra 1
9th: H Algebra 2
10th: H Geometry
summer after 10th: Community College MAT110 - College Algebra
12th will be: AP Calculus AB

I went on a foreign exchange my 11th grade year, so I missed a year of math and had to make up by taking a college class. Unfortunately, there was no equivalent offered for Precal.

My Geometry teacher will be my AP Calculus teacher. She said she thinks I will catch up fast..but I want some more opinions.

Do you think it will be doable or did I miss a lot of vital things in Precal?

It shouldn't be too bad. I did it this year through this testing for high school credit program that we have in the district. Basically, I read the textbook. There were a few concepts that I had trouble with, but the exam turned out to be a major blow-off (it was a regulars exam). I live by the belief that whatever difficulties I encounter in calc are tomorrow's problems. ;)

Precal introduces some pretty important things that you will use extensively in calculus. However, you shouldn't have a problem learning it on your own (although I would recommend getting a book and learning from a tutor or something).

^I didn't learn any trig in algebra 2. In my case, I actually could've skipped Algebra 2 and gone into Precalc, since it was mostly a review of Algebra 1.
