Slacker's chances...

Can't wait to see what happens at UT with my beast.

SAT 800CR/790M/670W

SATII 800 Math IIC 800 Physics

National Merit Commended

GPA 3.2 weighted (yeah that's right - amazing ain't it?) Not sure of unweighted

Almost every class Magnet, honors or AP - 6 sciences, 6 math
(about 6 AP classes, still taking 4 - Calc BC 5, CS AB 5)

Class Rank - Somewhere near the very bottom of the seperately ranked magnet kids - don't know exact number
Somewhere near the middle of the whole class. Not sure how having 2 10% groups goes - again don't know exact number

Some ECs, some sort of unique, but not too impressive or alturistic

With those SAT scores, you're pretty much guarenteed acceptance. Although don't hold me to that.

Well, an admissions officer told me that UT turned down 4 kids with perfect scores on the sat last year, so those scores don't necessarily guarantee acceptance. However he has good chances.

Rank is most important factor...

I believe UT has an automatic admissions cut off of 1350. I mean, 1350, without considering anything else.

No they don't.

nope, they dont. there is a limit, however, to how many spots can be filled up in each department though.
