I'm entirely unmotivated when it comes to high school right now even though I know how essential this year - junior year - is to my future college career. I'm constantly thinking about college, but I'm not doing enough about it.

I've been feeling "senioritis" since last semester of sophomore year, and I've been terribly slacking off this year. I'm always studying at the last minute, and I've completely destroyed the well-formed study habits I built last year. I frequently find myself doing homework the period before it's due.

I need to snap myself out of whatever I'm in.

Any suggestions about how to get back in the right study mindset?

Every time I start to study, I want to take a break. I’m having trouble getting into the study mindset. I keep procrastinating because I want to put off studying.

I have the same problem sometimes. It’s not really that I have too intense a workload, it’s more like I have a bunch of little things to do. If that’s what’s happening with you, I know it’s kind of late, but try focusing in on a couple classes/ec’s that you love, and do them in depth for maybe an hour now and then to get yourself back on track. Or try the opposite, start doing something new and time consuming. You’ll be forced not to procrastinate on homework when you’re done since you won’t have time to waste.
and yeah, disconnect from the internet. trying to do that myself.
