My son has been offered Dean’s scholarship for the undergrad business program starting this fall. The letter says that the offer of admission is contingent upon receipt of his final high school transcript which should reflect his successful completion of high school graduation requirements. Does it mean that his final GPA will not affect the admission or the scholarship as long he completes his high school graduation requirements?
I think they are implying that the scholarship is contingent upon him successfully graduating, not that his GPA doesn’t change…most of the scholarships given out by colleges have similar wording. But if you are concerned, you could always call admissions to clarify.
