Hey! I'm looking for small colleges (<10000) that are good (not ivy but for B+ to A- students) without a big party reputation.
Also with good financial aid.
Thanks!!

When you say financial aid do you mean FA or merit aid? People on the boards frequently use FA as the term when they mean merit and it's a totally different question.

What geography?

What do you want to major in?

no I mean financial aid. Not merit aid.

And I'm not sure for major, maybe psychology.

And preferably in the north east.

Thanks!

I'll advertise my own college: Bryn Mawr. You can always find a party if you get desperate, but the dorms are generally quiet at 11 pm, even on weekends.

American University Eagles - 5,824 undergraduate students
Connecticut College Camels - 1,900 undergraduate students
Drew University Rangers - 1,656 undergraduate students
University of Rochester Yellow Jackets - 4, 408 undergraduate students

Colby meets 100% of need with only grants and work-study, which means you don't have to pay them back, and may be feasible for you to get into.

Good Ideas:

Bates College, Clark University, Gettysburg College, (New York University ? if you're grades are good enough), Smith College

Elon University. My brother goes there, and he was like a B+/A- student in high school. Furthermore it is a good deal (like 30k) for a small, private college. It's in North Carolina.

Webb institute
