small "middle of the road" schools for transfer student

I am currently a Freshman at a community college in Wisconsin. I want to transfer to a small liberal arts school (regions midwest, northeast or possibly south) after I get my associates degree. My grades in high school were very low (2.1 GPA) but my grades in college are better, I currently have a 3.2-3.3 GPA. I currently have Wells College and Lynchburg on my list. Assuming I keep my GPA around a 3.2-3.3, what are some other schools I should look into?

Also....I plan on majoring in mathematics and/or physics

Thanks!

This is a very specific question. I recommend that you try the USNWR college search. I don't think it will just tell you the name of the college, but it is a good place to start. After you get some names, you can investigate them individually.

They will put much more weight on you college record than your high school record. Also, colleges generally grade harder than high schools.

The advisors at your comm college are probably the best source of info when it comes to accessing your chances at individual colleges. They have a lot of experience at that.

nielsbohr, I have the same concerns you do, I have asked about it but all I have heard is try hard. Niels Bohr ???????????? why does that ring a bell!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats right, because I learned about him :)
