Accepted!! This admissions cycle hasn’t been great for me, but I’m completely over the moon! Smith is my top choice!! I actually cried when I saw it!!

does anyone know the stats of getting of the waitlist ?
Same boat, @fruitloops101. It truly appears to vary. Based on the common data set, it has ranged from a fraction of 1% of WL girls accepted (with one admit from WL last year) to over 50%. Twenty percent of WL being admitted looks about the average. Smith is def my top choice among those I’ve hear back from. I’m sure if you were waitlisted at Smith you have other great options, so try to fall in love with those and hope for the best.

Fangirl1999 Congratulations! I am so happy you got into your top choice and I don’t even know you except for your posts. You are a very intelligent woman based on your stats and I am sure you will do great. My daughter was waitlisted again but she did not interview which I think was a lesson learned. Anyway, good luck!
