I think schools underestimate the fact that now students check their portals ALL the time. There are so many glitches in so many schools and with social media it becomes anxiety provoking. I wish schools find a way to deal with this better since I do not see students not checking.
Do you think if they’re releasing them in waves, they’re doing so in alphabetical order? Just trying to come up with theories to pass time
I wish I knew. This is painful just wondering.
I just wanted to come in and say that I was an ED1 accepted applicant and I got confetti and a video before my letter. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A GLITCH. If you got confetti and a video, I would start to assume that you have been accepted!
For ED1 the letter came shortly after, for ED2 it came numerous hours later since it was in the morning. I would check back in on your portal at 4pm EST as that was when all of ED got their letters
Do you know anyone if they send the confetti and video in waves?
was anyone accepted ED that didn’t get the confetti/video?
shoot. I had the confetti for a bit and now it is gone
the plot thickens lol
On A2C reddit people are saying the confetti and video have been removed
it’s possible that it was going on waves even though it’s been removed. i would be later in the list so that’s what i’m trying to tell myself lol
same :")
does this mean I didn’t get in
tbh i wouldn’t assume anything, especially if it got taken down.
there’s so many possibilities.
no that’s not what i meant
So far the only admissions cycles with a definite date have been ED1 and ED2, and I’d assume those were both released all at once because they have smaller pools of accepted students than RD. Don’t psych yourself out until 4pm EST, because that’s the point when letters should be posted.
From the people I know and talk to, everyone who got in got the confetti and video
even if it got taken down lol
but did they get them at the same time or was it in waves?
that’s what i was thinking… the confetti/video may have been coming out in waves but they stopped it since it’s not 4pm.
most of the schools i’ve applied to and gotten decisions from had to do it in waves (like 5-10 minutes apart, but waves nonetheless)
