Of these three schools, which one is best for business? Which one do you think is a better school?
It would depend on where you want to work. Employers that are close to each school will think that that school is better. Here’s a ranking list from Bloomberg. It seems to go SMU>SCU>LMU, but again, it’s going to depend on the location where you want to work. https://www.bloomberg.com/features/2016-best-undergrad-business-schools/
Agreed. If you to live and work in Texas, SMU hands down. Likewise, if in California, then Santa Clara.
My daughter visited, applied and had scholarships from all 3 of these schools. Her best scholarships were from SMU, and she attends there now. Santa Clara does not, typically, offer a lot of merit scholarships (they have them, but they don’t seem to be as generous or plentiful). I can’t comment about the strength of the business schools at all 3 since we were not looking at that - but I do know that Cox at SMU is very good. All 3 schools are very different from each other, I suggest spending time at each to see which one is the best fit.
