All four schools have similarities and differences! Private, affluent, small classes, big Greek life, yes. I like that students MUST live on campus for two years at SMU and TCU -- it builds community. Any thoughts?

I don’t know too much about Tulane and Miami, but I would definitely choose TCU over SMU. Maybe I’m biased because I attend TCU, but the atmosphere and general attitude toward TCU is that it is much more relaxed. Academically, I believe that SMU has the slight edge, but I feel that TCU offers a better overall college experience.

You should consider which universities have stronger programs for what you what to study and what kind of atmosphere surrounds the campus. I go to SMU and really love it. Our campus is really plugged into the city of Dallas, and I feel like we have an edge in getting jobs and internships here. SMU gives there students lots of opportunities and resources to make their dreams come true.
