I know Irvine is pretty early, but how early?

I'm currently a student at UCI and last year the decisions were sent out pretty randomly. I got mine waaaaay late.

^ That's what I've heard. Like some people got the invites in April. Really sporatic(sp?).

The site says mid March, though, so we still have a month, at the earliest.

i have heard that some people got them as early as late february..??

last year's thread has people getting them as early as the 15th...
now i'm starting to get nervous :/

^ Relax. The decision's been made and now we're just waiting to find out what it is. The only things you should be worried about are things you can actually influence.

just got in today. admitted to the honors program~
btw, i'm an international student from china.

Received email and acceptance + chp this morning.
so decisions are out!
good luck everyone

It says my decision is still pending.

Does this mean I didn't get in or are they still sending out emails that you were admitted all throughout the rest of this month and march.

I got an email today telling me to check the myapplication website today - admitted (ELC) with regents and honors program.
I'm fairly certain though that these decisions are rolling because I had a friend who didn't get his decision 'til the end of March last year.

Im gonna go check now......
.................................
..............................
nope, not yet.

I had to send an e-mail to my admissions counselor, he opened it yesterday.

So I guess they're still figuring it out

I didn't get my acceptance letter until the very last day of March two years ago. For UC Irvine, other than CHP and Regents, you shouldn't know your status until March, perhaps even to April and May.

Are they really that late?

Some of my friends received their UCI acceptances TODAY (err, technically yesterday Feb. 20). A lot of top students haven't received anything from UCI, so I'm not worried about the spontaneity.

I'm guessing that UCI is notifying honors students now so the campus has time to court them to attend.
