<p>I've been trying to make a NetID password for sooo long and it keeps freaking saying "Principal does not exist". I've made like 100 different passwords so it can't be the password that's wrong. WTH is it telling me because I'm SO aggrivated right now!!!!</p>

<p>I had the same problem. My solution - I got to a different computer and used the password that met the requirements. So, try using a different computer, or restart yours after your password meets all of the reqs. I think that after a couple of bad tries, the server just doesnt want to accept a password any more.</p>
<p>Ya turns out you can't use Earthlink as your browser. What a ripoff lol. Well now I have an email at least!</p>
<p>Get rid of Earthlink and use Firefox!</p>

<p>I just did it online. Go into ur application status page and click the thing that lets you complete ur NetId process. Then go through the process. Then get ur email.</p>
