So am i just being neurotic?

So i just applied to Michigan a few weeks ago for transfer and i am just freaking out as the days go by. In HS... eh okay, 3.0 gpa, 27 act, 4 varsity sports, 200+ volunteer hours and job. Nothing to special - your average white catholic male. Went to a small liberal arts school last year managed a 3.8 cum gpa - due to a B in physics 1st semester - solid year though. I applied to ND last year as a transfer... and well i was denied. I'm looking at Umich right now... really like the school and the poli sci program as well as the bio department but i am thinking of switching to something else - maybe along the lines of peace studies or something like that. Back to the point, i wake up every morning - anxious as ever just wanting to hear from admin but it wont be for atleast 2 weeks. I talked to an admissions counselor and she told me i have a strong application and essays. I am doing a lot of extra curricular activities right now. 2 student gov positions - hall council - campus manager for ONE - helping people get out of poverty - etc... stuff like that. Idk if anyone has insightful information. just am i worrying too much about this?

ok, chill out. I've seen so many posts about you being anxious about decisions. what "insightful" information do you want? do you have a constructive question about the UMich transfer process? or do you merely want confirmation from people that you'll get in?
Starting from now on, the only thing you can do is to relax and wait for their decision. Its a matter of HOW you wait, being anxious all the time wont help you very much, but having a positive outlook will give a real boost in your confidence. you're done applying and theres nothing you can do about it now, the ship has left the harbor as they say.
listen to what the admin said, he/she said that you have solid stats and essays..what more do you have to worry about if you had an ADMIN tell you that? When u call the office of admissions, 7 times out of 10 its a (very ill informed)student working/volunteering at the office that picks up the phone and answers your questions(very poorly).

yes you are worrying too much, dont let it phase you, or it might affect your performance at the school you are at CURRENTLY.

take a deep breath.......and have a cookie or something.
