...and I was wondering how am I going to deposit that? I applied for the Stafford loan and I believe the people at UCF said I would get it the end of July. Well, it's August and I see no sign of the loan and the housing money is due August 7th. Does anyone know how this process will work then? Will I have to take the 100 dollar late fee and then pay it whenever I get my loan money?

Log into MyUCF and look at your financial aid section. It will list all money that will be coming to you (ie., Bright Futures, any other scholarships and the Stafford Loan if you have been approved already). The total of this is referred to as your estimated financial aid deferrment. If this number is larger than the amount requested for tuition, housing (and meal plan if you have signed up for that), you do not have to make a payment. If it does not cover the expenses noted above, you will have to pay the difference between your estimated deferrment and what your account balance reads. This is the amount that needs to be paid by August 7th to cover the housing fee.
You may feel more comfortable hearing this from the financial aid office directly. They respond to e-mails very quickly.
Hope this helps.

Does anyone know when Florida prepaid for tuition and/or dorm shows up??
