So confused about choosing a major!!??

I will prob be applying for FAll '10 to:</p>

<p>UCSB
UCLA
UCSC
andddd maybe Cal or UCSD</p>

<p>I thought I was POSITIVE on my major choice, but am getting nervous/undecided! I have been looking up class descriptions and I Just wonder if what I want to do is really what I want to do.</p>

<p>Originally wanted Spanish, but have most major prereq's for Anthropology, and depending on what I might (maybe) Switch to, could have prereq's for the other major by spring if I do end up switching.</p>

<p>I'm considering also: linguistics, women's studies, anthropology (cultural!). YEp. That's about it.
And the thing with me is...if I am not at all interested in what i'm reading, forget it. It's a lost cause! And the anthropology thing..I looove foreign cultures, and am currently in a cultural anthro class and love it to death! I Just hate the massive amount of reading we have. SO i'm just confused...:0</p>

i want to be a singer
and though that may sound funny, I’m going to college to have a backup! Cuz SOOOO many people don’t go to college and kill themselves and it goes to waste.
And yes I tried the music major-0–i don’t like it as an institutional practice, but I want to take up something I’m interested in.
It’s difficult!</p>
