<p>Hi, I think you can petition for an exclusion based on religious reasons, as discussed in the CC Parents Forum. However, if there is an outbreak, you may have to be moved out of the dorm or some such special provision (if you opt out of taking the meningitis vaccination).</p>
<p>Also, keep in mind, meningitis re-vaccination may be required if you have been vaccinated already in the past 3-5 years or longer (the vaccine’s protection lasts approximately 3-5 years).</p>
