My housing form says that everyone must present both a Student Immunization History form and a Meningitis Response. It also says that I can get the shots at the SHC Immunization Clinic or wherever the NYC Department of Health says.
As an international student, and the deadline being August 15, do I need to travel before move-in day or can I present some kind of international certification?

Thanks in advance

bamp for still no answer.
Pretty please?

This sounds like a questions you’d better ask the school directly.

The immunisations (menningoccocal and MMR) and other health requirements are very important most especially for students living inside the university, if you don’t submit you will not be able to attend classes. This is my concern too as my child will be in freshman class 2016 this fall.

As an international student, I made sure that my child’s immunisations are complete and had it done in our country, you must have an immunisation childhood book, ask your parent!
I suggest you email the people in charge and they will explain everything to you–

Hope this helps!

I believe NYU has its own forms that have to be completed, download them from the Student health site, also the meningitis response form is downloadable.

Here in the US, we recently received the health mailing with the forms that are required. I haven’t looked at them in detail yet, so I can’t answer specific questions, but vaccination and insurance requirements are discussed.
