My daughter has a weighted 10-12 gpa of 4.2
ACT 26
Our high school counselor is terrible in terms of helping us compute Cal State gpa, so I’m not sure how good this is.
Is SDSU a reach or a target, assuming her major is not highly popular, but has a 32% admit rate
Weighted GPA by CSU terms or by HS terms?. She can use this calculator which calculates the UC/CSU GPA capped weighted.

Then plug her CSU GPA and ACT score into the eligibility index formula:
(UC/CSU GPA x200) + (ACT composite x10). An EI of 1100+ can be competitive for SDSU. They admit by EI and major so she will be ranked based on your major. They then admit from the top down until all spots are filled.
If her stats are correct, SDSU is a target school but it would definitely help to bump up her ACT score.
