Pre-History
2 big ECs: church and speech and debate at the local JC (on the collegiate circuit; we debate against such schools as Claremont, Cal, UCLA, UCSD, USAFA, etc.) - won national award in impromptu</p>
<p>waiting for private schools and Cal. Also got Regents at SD. I think once I get acceptance from Cal, this letter will be thrust into my closet to collect dust forever</p>
<p>A clarification with my earlier post...the GPA is 3.84~ WEIGHTED, 3.64~ UNWEIGHTED.</p>
<p>It's likely that GPA wasn't the factor that got me in, so it'll be my standardized scores and my essays, and perhaps my upward trend of grades every year.</p>
<p>lollerskates: I believe they tell you when you see if you're accepted or not. I didn't get eligibility.</p>

<p>it's 12:27 am here in hawaii, and i JUST found out that the decisions are online, only to discover that the site is CLOSED right now. i'll be back in 3 hours...</p>

<p>o yea, the acceptance mail is a ucla folder, and inside, is pretty much the same as the website, cept they got this article about how ucla mit and berkeley are top 3 universities, measured by service to the nation... all i did when i saw that was laugh</p>
