<p>I'm going to be starting in the fall and I got placed in a triple at Foothill. I've never been much of a partier in high school, but I'm not a nerd who sits doing homework all day either. I like to be around people who like to have fun and meet new people. So how disappointed should I be?</p>

<p>My son will be starting Berkeley in the fall. My daughter goes to another university but had a similar situation where she ended up in an all female dorm. She was so bummed. However once she got going, she said she liked it because she could go hang out in the party dorms whenever she felt like it, but she could go back to where it was quiet to study. My son is bummed about Foothill too, but this is something to think about. It won’t be so bad. You don’t have to be there every waking minute of the day…</p>
