So... how busy will it be?

How long after 5 PM do you think it'll take before you get your decision?

probably anywhere between 5-12 as it says on the site

if im on at 501 and i dont see a decision i will flip the f-uck out!

I think it'll be inaccessible for about a half hour.

it cant be inaccesible to everyone; i mean some people have to get through before the site crashes.
it better not be like collegeboard, where i couldnt get my score for a whole week.

hm, why is everyone so sure that it will crash? They seem to have planned ahead for this better than the collegeboard, and I don't know how many people actually know that the decisions are coming out at that time. Over here, sure everyone knows, but I don't think that the vast majority of people will have checked their online app status (which is where they would learn that decisions are being posted on the 10th). After sendind in the necessary materials and seeing that they were all received, there is not really a reason to login to the online application. Most people on college confidential are a bit more concerned about college stuff than the avg person, so of course over here we know the exact time decisions are coming out, but I am sure that there is a good number of ED applicants who don't.

Actually.

This might not be so much of an issue. We are only talking some of the ED pool here. RD would be much more traffic, right?

Im not planning on checking mine until about 8 oclock anyways, but we'll see how i am come 5, i might just rush to check, but im gonna try to wait until around 8, when i know it will be up, and i don't think it will crash, at most it will be 2500 people, collegeboard probably had 50,000+ people

Yah I'm sure for collegeboard.com, there wasn't much of an incentive to get the site working again. Could have been a scam too. The longer you keep anxious suckers like me waiting for scores, the more tempted we are to dish out $10 to hear it over the phone, which never seems to fail. ;)

I hope I can get through at 5 (4 here b/c of central time) because I have to be at school the whole day for a Christmas Concert and probably won't get home until after 10. I don't know how I'll concenrate onthe music if I know that I have a decision ready an waiting for me to check....
