So how do u figure out ur classes?

I have been reading the first year guide & still cudnt figure out what classes to take. Then I printed out a worksheet of my major, thats helping a bit but I've to plan for a whole bunch of courses.I'm really confused. Is that how u guys r doing it?

I am also confused- what is the site that you can look up professors along with grade percentage? I was told about the site earlier and received something in the mail but lost it sadly.

Check out registrar.unc.edu. This might help!

when searching for classes:
First, print off your acadmic worksheet from the advising site
Second, use the course search engine at http://regweb.oit.unc.edu/coursesearch/ to search for what courses fufill a requirment that you want fufilled in your first semester
Third, use pickaprof to find out which professor you prefer (the same class can vary greatly based off of the professor, they all have different teaching styles)
Then come up with a list of what you want with the course number and section, also make a list of backups.

Thanks Topgun! That was really, really helpful : )
I've another question, do we have to pay pic a prof in order to register?Cant it be done free?
