As a prospective Berkeley transfer-hopeful, I'm curious about how job fair works at UC Berkeley, especially Haas v. other majors.

According to the new Businessweek rank, Berkeley's undergrad. Business Program went up to #3, and has managed to rank #1 by the recruiters so obviously there will be more recruiters visiting Berkeley campus next year.

I applied as Economics major, which falls under College of L&S.

During the job fair, do the recruiters (especially the top IB firms) look specifically for Haas Students or do they give equal opportunity to all students regardless of the major?

I've heard various responses in the past. Some say Haas Students have the advantage over all other majors, whereas some people say as long as the recruiters come to the school everyone will have the equal chance of being recruited.

Thanks in advance.
