I can't seem to write a good essay. I know what I want to say in my brain, but when it comes to typing/writing it down, I can't seem to make it work.

me tooooooooooooooooooo. I started writing my essays during this summer and I haven’t completed a single essay yet. Hopefully, by the deadline, we’ll have some essays submitted. good luck!

What I do is I “write in my head”. Basically I make up what I want to say in my head, then I write it down verbatim. Even if the word choice is off or the grammar isn’t correct I just keep writing that comes to mind. And, when I’m done, I go back and correct everything.
Good luck!

Something that helped me get going was to write on actual paper on a clipboard, because it gives more time to think while writing (I, and many others, type a lot faster than writing). I also found that the intro is the hardest, so maybe try writing some of the body and then go back, once you know what the essay will really all be about. Just some things that helped me, good luck!
