so i didn't do as well as i expected....

i did all the CB practice tests and scored between 2100-2350, and then on the actual may test, i got:

CR: 730
M: 620
W: 610

that is a 1960.

I attribute it basically to nerves and the slight fever/cold I had, but that's by the way.

anyway, recommend me some books for math and writing, since i already exhausted all of CB's practice tests. i will be retaking in october, so i have the summer to study. again.

thanks.

Gruber's is said to be the best for math- I'll let you know how well it in after the June test. As far as writing goes, I dunno.

thanks. any books for writing?

For writing, I've been using the BB and "Up Your Score". I also started to read a couple of pages in my grammar book, but it's exceedingly dull. Barron's is harder than the actual test, so you could try that, too.

i heard grubers is pretty good for writing as well. is this true? in that case i could kill two birds with one stone.

Grubers is quite helpful when it comes to writing. Not really in depth when explaining basics, but the questions difficulty seems very close and gives good explainations on why the right answers are, well, right! It got me from a 51 on the PSAT to a 690 on the SAT.

ok thanks! any other books good for writing?
