I've been trying to transfer out of my school (Virginia Commonwealth) since I was freshman in fall 2004. I finally got into Clemson today but now im having problems. I got my credit evaluation form and out of all my credits only 2 have something under the clemson university thing. I made a few calls and found out that I have to go to orientation and have the rest of my credits evaluated. The problem is that now after everything i've gone through im having doubts, I know, crazy. Is there any way I can find out if my credits will go through without commiting to the school? I dont want to commit and end up throwing 2 years at my current school out the window because my credits didnt transfer. I've tried calling them to ask them this but I just keep getting transfered to different offices.

i'm sure you could commit to the school and later withdraw, as long as you haven't withdrawn from your current school yet and you haven't paid tuition yet... you'd definitely lose your deposit, but in the long run, that's not a HUGE deal.

good luck with the decision! :)

Actually there was a note in my acceptance that said that since the fall semester is only a few weeks away I dont have to pay the $100 deposit. The only thing would be that I would lose a couple of bucks flying down to SC just to see if I really want to go to that school. Man this is really killing me. I only got into 1 school out of high school so i've never had to make a decision like this.

good luck!! i know it's hard to have a choice but... i guess, be grateful you get to make a choice and just aren't stuck somewhere? you can look at it like that i suppose :)
