While still in high school, I took a semester of college. What should I do about transferring these credits? It seems that I can find the instructions to transfer, say, AP credits, or the instructions for transferring credits AS a transfer student, but not for my specific situation. Should I mail a transcript to the office of admissions or something?

I honestly have no idea. I’d give admissions a call or email to find out since they handle this. If you find out let me know? I’m taking summer classes too so I should find out how to transfer them haha

hmmm, if I remember correctly, when you got accepted did you got a huge booklet? Well I did and at the back of the book is a whole bunch of information for transfer students on how to transfer their credits. I would look it up for you but all my clemson booklets are in storage right now haha
I do know you have to fill out some form to get credit

I definitely did. It says I need a “transfer evaluation form.” The only problem is that I can’t find mine, LOL.

I leave for orientation tomorrow; would it be advisable to bring my college transcript with me, and talk to someone there about it?

well they didn’t send one to you because you aren’t a “transfer student” and as a result, they assume that you don’t have any credits to transfer. Hmm sure, you should bring a college transcript. There should be someone from admissions at orientation so you can talk to them about it, maybe you can leave your college transcript with them so that sounds like a good idea.

i did dual enrollment classes while in high school, and I just had the transcript sent directly to Clemson from the local college where I received credit and I got something in the mail today saying what classes I am getting credit for. So you should have your transcript sent down.
