So... I missed the priority deadline for fin aid.

Gahh, I missed the priority filing date of a college I applied to. Doh! Can someone explain to me what would be the difference between the priority filing date and the regular filing date?

Thanks much.

Yes, I would like to know as well.

You have to ask the college financial aid office. I checked this out with one school and they said that they would be able to give more accurate information sooner if we met the priority deadline. This will probably vary.

The majority of the schools my son applied to said that getting your FA application in by the deadline would enable them to get your FA package to you at or near the time of the admission decision. The later you file your FA documents the later your FA decision will be. (And we just realized that one of son's deadlines is tomorrow and we can't do it until Saturday, so it will just be late.)
