So I opened my inbox today...

And I see 5 new messages. Obviously, the one that jumped out at me was the one from University of Chicago, with "Your decision is ready", received at 4:01 pm.

So after finding out that I got deferred (dang), I look over my inbox again, and whats this? Another email from UChicago?! This one was received at 12:49 pm, also today. And what did it say? Something along the lines of "Oh, sry for responding to ur request for an interview so late. Would you still like to have one now?"

-.- ***...

And yes, I requested it in late October, when I turned in my app.

Hey, at least you got an email saying your decision is ready. It's been like two hours since they were released, and I still haven't gotten an email.

I was deferred, too.

I was deferred as well. I'm wondering how many people actually were accepted taking into account the supposed enormity of the class size of the class of 2009.

i didn't get an email either and had to login to their website only to find myself deferred.

i didn't get an email, and i had to check.
deferred as well. really thought i was going to be accepted

Awww guys. :[

yeah i just got the email... after I'd already checked and seen that I was deferred. However, I just spent the last 3 hours getting my mind off the subject by other distractions. Where you go to college does not A) define who you are B) determine how successful you will be and C) automatically make you happy
I AM going to a college-- I should be thankful for that, regardless of whether it's my first choice or the state U.

deferred...i dont get it
