QQ

Saved on U Chicago's server waiting until this afternoon to be sent out.

I'm sure that they will send after 2 (chicago time)

after 2 Chicago time? That could mean in 5 minutes! (damn Eastern Time....I checked at 7:30 this morning, which is 6:30 there. Neurotic? possibly)

No email yet! Hmm I'm guessing it's going to be sent at 4...

i feel your pain, i've had to take exams with this anxiety! i seriously check my email every 5 minutes now. i'm guessing 4pm too.

Yeahh, I took my first two midterms today, and I kept forgetting lines of my monologue in drama, probably paritally 'cause I was panicked about this.

And some mailman just drove past without stopping (but our flag is up, so I guess he's just not ours)

I'm waiting too! It's even worse when you know it's going to happen sometime today.

Gradghhghghdfhuhhhhhh

why are they doing this to us?!?!?!? I'm guessing 3 Chicago time, 4 EST. gahhh

why do they prolong the misery so? its just not fair. half the people have found out by snail mail before the emails have gone out. i mean, what's the point? i love you chicago! let me in!

good luck everyone!

Can someone please call the Admissions Office and ask the receptionist when the decisions will go out by e-mail? :-).

yes, please call. im int'l, i shouldnt have to pay for the call.

Seriously, I can't bear this wait any longer! I don't understand why people in NJ have already gotten their decisions via snail mail, whereas I haven't gotten it. Is it because I get my mail in the morning?

wait, i'm from nj and i don't have any snail mail yet >.< damn chicago

fireside, you are not alone, my friend. I suffer from similar angst and anxiety. Haha. Good luck to everyone. Oh, by the way, can someone please call the Office of Admissions?

mm yeah i haven't recieved my rejection notice by snail mail or email. my mom called the office to submit some tax stuff that they asked for [at around 11 PST, 1 chicago time] adn they said to call back at another hour].

Any advice on how to handle rejection?

I'm from NC and got it in snail mail about 20 minutes ago. I'm thrilled.

highereducation, why don't you forget about the possibility of rejection? Perhaps you won't be rejected!
