So I screwed up this semester...do I still have a chance?

I've been taking college classes since my Junior year of high school and have gotten mostly A's and a couple B's (3.89 gpa before Fall) but this first "real" college semester, I pretty much screwed that and got straight B's in my 5 classes (well, it's been a confirmed two B's right now, but I'm being pessimistic and saying I got all B's when I probably got at least 1 A). I'm hoping/intending on getting straight A's in the Spring to make up for all the damage I did :/

I'm applying to UCSD (Comm), UCLA (Comm, European Studies alt.), UCB (Media Studies), UCSB (Comm), USC Annenberg (Comm), and Pepperdine (Comm).

Do I still have a chance at any of these schools?

Forget UCLA Comm

Yeah, well I never really expected getting into UCLA Comm, hence the European Studies alternate major. Although, if I did get into UCLA as a European Studies major but got into all those other schools as a Comm major, I’d definitely give up UCLA.

Don’t screw up again and you’ll be fine. A 3.0 GPA isn’t bad to start. Just make sure from now on you have an upward grade trend and you’ll be fine (maybe not into UCLA tho)

TAG into SD and SB. im pretty much going to be attending UCSD Fall 2011 as a Comm major becus of my TAG

Are you applying as a fall 2011 transfer?
