So I watched Grey's Anatomy season finale.

I want to be a psychiatrist and watching this show inspires me more to pursue my medical interests. Is anybody else like that? With all the medical shows, it just makes it so much more interesting even though this much drama doesn't happen in hospitals, it still inspires and keeps me entertained. Did anybody else watch the finale? What did you think? Do you watch any other medical shows?

I don’t believe that I’ve viewed any of the show’s episodes. I watch House though. I recommend that you watch that show as well.

I did not watch the finale, but I am fond of the show.

It does interest me a lot. The drama is just…haha…but I love watching them perform the needed precedure on each of their patients!

Ugh, I can’t watch that show, though I am currently listening while my sister watches it. But her interest in medical shows has increased both the range of quiz team questions which I can answer and my belief in my ability to intubate a patient :).

House makes me want to be a doctor.

I watched the finale just not any of the other shows lol :P

it was very intense and emotional. I’m contemplating whether or not to continue watching reruns/next season

this makes me sad. i was a huge huge fan, like basically obsessed, but then i thought it sorta went downhill and now i haven’t watched for a year or two.

The finale was freaking amazing.

House is great too.

Medical shows do intrigue me, esp the surgical side which is just really incredible.
However the only things I watch on TV are comedies with my sister on a Sunday night, and once in a while Gossip Girl (yes, the show is terribly materialistic).

My sister’s friend got into medical school after watching Grey’s anatomy…now she regrets it (she’s constantly heard saying things like damn you Meredith etc). Go shadow a doctor and once you see the reality, I doubt you’d still want to be a doctor.

^haha

I feel bad for Meredith after that show :(

My sister’s bf is in Med school, she’s always quizzing him on random things that don’t matter lol Like what the… vestibular system does.

House>>>Grey’s Anatomy.

Even though I don’t have any aspirations to become a doctor, House MD. kinda makes me…haha.

I watch House MD. It is very good. I think with House though they aren’t really doctors such as surgical but more of a diagnostic team. That would be fun. If you worked in somewhere like NYC you would get more unusual cases like that. I have to admit I had a medical interest and watching Grey’s Anatomy and House MD made me want to be one more. xD The drama is just amazing and you can’t help but think that maybe just maybe that kinda action and hospital romance will happen when you work in a hospital. I want to be a psychiatrist, so i’m going to start off working in a hospital clinic then work to get my own office. Anybody else have medical school/career dreams?

Me!! House was the reason I wanted to go to Johns Hopkins, but my grades/SAT scores suck too hard.

If I got to make out with hot girls like on Grey’s Anatomy, I would want to be a doctor. But that is obviously not the reality, and seeing as how I was horrible at biology and I hate memorizing stuff, I would probably not be a very good doctor. Writing be mah thang.

Who do you think is hot on Grey’s?

there is not one unattractive person on that show (except for maybe that short, fat female doctor that bosses everyone around). I’m a very, very straight guy, and even I can see that the guys on that show are very attractive

Hey, don’t diss Bailey, she’s the shiznit.

Lol, okay, she’s steaming :)

Yeah, Jackson Avery is the hottest doctor by far. Hotter than McDreamy AND McSteamy.
