<p>lol I got waitlisted at Harvard so i'll be attending columbia (even though 4 of my friends are ditching columbia to go to penn and harvard =/)...tell ya what...if you convince a Harvard acceptee to go to Yale, then i might go to harvard and then you might go to columbia!!</p>
<p>The longer I wait to hear from Columbia regarding the waitlist, the less likely I am to matriculate.</p>
<p>Suddenly the colleges that didn't snub me --Amherst, Swarthmore, and Wellesley-- are looking much more appealing than before.</p>
<p>I guess I'm trying to put Columbia out of mind until they decide to offer me admission.</p>
<p>1500 on the waitlist?? That's a pretty big number... most likely a lot will go to HYPS instead. I know a girl who attends Yale now but was waitlisted at Columbia. CC's waitlist is nuts.</p>
