So, it's 11:55 pm, and I'm trying to submit my supplement...

...and wouldn't you know, when I press "submit" it takes about 3 min. for a screen to pop up and say "error, please contact out technical team" or something like that. so, basically, it didn't send my supplement and it'll be late. will it really count that much against me if i send my supplement today (jan. 2), or should i just forget about and go play in traffic? thanks for any insight!

dude im browsing new posts and there are so many of these

Server OVERFLOW... Haha I knew it would happen, that's why I submitted around 7 P.M. Eastern time... And I'm not sure about it affecting your shot or anything. They may see it as procrastination- a non-desired quality... But hey, what do I know.

This is why you don't wait until the last minute.... because everybody else does too.

It doesn't help you at all, but if you application is stellar and it's only a day late they MAY overlook it.

hmmm... i'm not liking my chances. well, thanks guys!

It shouldn't matter much if its a day late. I called Penn around the ED deadline and they said it was a "soft deadline". Just get it in ASAP.

ok, cool. thanks! :)

b4 jan 1st...as far as i remember (nd i clearly remember cuz penn is my first choice)...it always said "none" in the supplement deadline in common app...if they dont accept it...mayb u shud write that to them...i had the same prob...i submitted it at the last minute and it got submitted on the 2nd...but if it says downloaded...shud ther be ne problem? :S

It says "none" on the supplement deadline because it's an All-In-One application. The common app and supplement must be submitted at the same time, before Jan 2nd. You'll be fine though.

err...maybe....but nyu is an all in one institution...it doesnt say "none" there...dunno..just hope ill b fine...

it happened to me
and then i tried mozilla firefox
it worked :)
