As the thread title states, the first marking period has just ended for my school, and I have a C in IB Physics. This is the only C out of four A's and two B's on my report card (all of my other classes are IB as well). My total average for the first quarter is a high B+ (89). I know that colleges like the fact that their prospective applicants are willing to challenge themselves in harder classes, but should I consider dropping out of IB physics given that a grade of a C (or a 72 in this case) is really bad, even if it is an IB class? (I'm really only focusing on getting into schools like Stony Brook or NYIT, but I applied to a few B.S./M.D. programs as well just to see how I would fare)
