So I've decided...

I've already started self-studying AP Psychology, and I'm really considering studying AP Environmental science. Could someone give me a heads up about Environmental science and the books I should use? I only had one response that was kind of a downer. How would I know if I was prepared for AP PSych and env sci? It feels kinda risky studying alone...

AP Psych is doable self study - very popular one actually. AP Envi Sci is probably OK to self study. It requires a lot of memorization, but yea very doable.

I think you need to find yourself the right book and maybe an hour a week to study for each test. I would suggest breaking up the sections each day and taking them to see how your fair. Add up the scores and thats what you are “projected” to get…

They’re both incredibly doable.

I’ve heard that “The Smartypants’ Guide to the AP Environmental Science Exam” book is the best. It’s the one that I have, and it covers all the information that would be covered on the test. It’s really really concise, and it makes the concepts incredibly easy. You could read it in one day and probably get a 4 or a 5 on the AP Exam. The hardest things to memorize/learn are the environmental law policies implemented over the last while. But other than that, it’s really quite easy to understand and remember.
