<p>Person: Benny Goodman (I loved this essay!)
Location: Tokyo (I thought it turned out well, since I had been there I was able to put in specific details)
Hero: "The Negotiator" Able to resolve conflicts, help people understand each other. Kind of corny, but turned out ok, I guess.
Garment: A very formal double breasted suit with a soft, yellow fleece interior, to show that I can be serious/studious and fun-loving at the same time

<p>Overall it was a bit generic...I think it showed off my interest in other cultures though, so that was good.</p>

Superhero: ChairWOMAN Mao (my name is jessica mao lol, so i get made fun of)
Garment: A Yellow sweatshirt with a smiley face on front/back with sunglasses and retractable cotton sun rays that shoot out of the sweatshirt. </p>

<p>I think that's kind of what they expected though, isn't it? They aren't looking for single-characteristic applicants, so our essays that describe our strengths should reflect that. I do think that there is a fair amount of variety in the actual garments, even if the interpretations aren't as diverse.</p>

Superhero: Politicko (yeah, I had fun with that one...)

Garment: Speedo (I had enough multi-faceted-me already. I didn't feel like I needed to include every characteristic and everything that I have ever accomplished in each mini-essay.)

<p>Destination: Bermuda Triangle - took the angle that not evrything can be explained with facts and figures = my preference for analytical subjects</p>
<p>Superhero: She-Leader (solves group dynamic challenges in ASB so that they could complete various projects)</p>
<p>Designer: The "xxx" (my first name) Ensemble - wrote it like a news report from a fashion show - multifacted like me blah blah blah </p>
<p>Lunch: Dwight Schrute</p>
<p>Leadership Essay: JKRowling (based on her perserverance in the face of adversity, her contriution to a renewed love of reading, and her usage advocacy of non-profit oragnizations)</p>
