Ha ha... completely opposite here. I've had barely any homework the whole year, I actually have to think in probably two, maybe three, classes, and all my classes are WAY easier than I thought. Socially, however... well, let's just not go there. :)

Socially, I find myself hanging out with only my close friends (not casual friends or associates).

Academically, I have a mix.

I'm excited for the school paper even though we have a whole new staff so it's going to be a challenge to get the first issue out.

I'm taking trigonometry instead of AP Calc. It's not even an honors class so I'm hoping I'll have an easy time and get over with what is hopefully my last math class ever.

AP Lit is good. I like the teacher. My class is a fun bunch.

Virtual Enterprise. No comment. My school forces us to take it since we have to complete a "career pathway." All I can say is that I just wish I had chosen the health pathway over the business.

AP Gov't. Same as Lit.

AP Euro. Same as Lit.

Despite zero period (7 am), it feels nice to get out from school at 12:30 everyday.

I can't wait until I'm done with the college apps process. I can't wait until I'm done with the first semester.

I can't wait until graduation! It's June 19 for me.

hmm senior year. i have to say, i like it the most out of all of my other years. safe to say, i hated junior year with a passion, didnt mind sophomore year, and wasnt a fan of fresh year. but really, i love senior year. i'm not a school spirit one, but i went to our first home game and i had a killer time. other than that, the people still suck (aside from my friends), but that's expected right? and the classes are hard, but that was also expected. i cant wait to be done, but im really looking forward to senior traditions.. i have to say, i am lovin this year. and i get out may 10th so i cant wait to be done!

Its been pretty great. The fact that they changed the hours from 8:15 to 3:30 blows, but the extra time wasn't used to make the classes any longer. We do block schedule, so my day looks something like this

A days:

8:15-9:45: Economics-I have an A+, and am really competive in our stock game.
9:45-10: Listen to announcements/socialize with the people in your class
10:05-11:35: desktop Publishing-Occasionally design something like a football program for the school in Publisher. Otherwise, just get on the internet
11:40-12:40: Journalism-Best Class Ever. Only rule is meet your deadlines. Otherwise, we have the freedom to do whatever we want in the room, or to just say "we're going to go sell ads", and take a long lunch
12:45-1:15: Lunch-Kind of short period, but we get off campus, and I usually leave journalism a little early when I need to go out to a sit down place
1:20-2:50-Church History-Kind of bummed that Sr. Bible didn't fit in my schedule, but this is a good class that I'm acing, so no worries.
2:55-3:30-Postblock-Supposed to be a study hall where you go to your assigned classroom and quietly study. Not me. I go to the journalism room with everyone else swift enough to convince the amdinistartion that we need the extra time to work hard on the paper. On days that i have AP calculus and AP english, I study. On days that I don't, I listen to music/play my SNES emulator on my friend's laptop/hangout.

B Days:

8:15-9:45: AP Calculus-The only class I have a B in
9:45-10: Announcements/socialize
10:05-11:35: Yearbook-Another "Only rule is meet your deadlines" class
11:40-12:40: Journalism again (its my daily block, so I go every day except wednesday chapel days)
12:45-1:15-Lucnh
1:20-2:50 AP English-Lots of work, but really good class. I;m expecting about a 105 weighted grade in there.
2:55-3:30-Postblock

The blocks rotate, so its not the same times for each class every day. I have some tough classes, but its much much bette rthan last year was. Although I like my schedule, I'm counting the days until may.

Senior year is a lot of work. I don't get to see many people - for first semester I leave early, which I do like a lot. The classes themselves are awesome, I love them, just a lot of work - I've found myself up until about 2am the last three weeks.

Like I said in the other senior post, I can't wait until first semester is OVER. At least then college apps will be done and I'll just be pacing around my house like a maniac for a few months.

this year is kinda evil for me. The most ap's senior year is 5, and I'm the only senior in the entire class of 500 who's taking the max. ap's + another core class. :)

it sux .... my parents seperated so i had 2 move to a diff school and i came 3 weeks behind b/c they started earlier and ap bio and ap calc ab is killing me

OMG calc ab is killing me surely but slowly. We had a quiz over chapter one which is supposedly review and I think I failed it. If I get a C I'll be happy

It's actually been great. I'm enjoying it far more than I thought I could enjoy school. Socially, things are a lot more friendly, and having a 4th block study is really awsome.....seniors can go out to lunch:)

AP Cals is my only downfall......and it's only been the first week.

Oh well, I'm not letting Calc ruin my senior year
