So, seniors, how's your last high school year so far?

I am enjoying it so far :)

I'm enjoying it too :D!!! A few too many committments...but I'm loving it :)

Great so far here too.

So far, so good

It started out sucking, but it's going pretty good now. I've adjusted, though calculus is kicking my hiney :)

Hard as hell.

socially...great
academically...atrocious

AP English is kicking my ass...and my AP Econ teacher has no idea what he's doing...loving Jazz band class though lol...go figure...

"socially...great
academically...atrocious"

Identical feelings over here.

"I've adjusted, though calculus is kicking my hiney"
OMG, me too!!!!

"socially...great. academically...atrocious"

Me too. Half of my classes are good but the others I question (quality of class, material covered, rigor, textbooks, style of teaching, and preparation for exams in May).

Still, so far, I would say this is my best year (and not just because I'll be gone in June).

All four days of school haven't been that bad.

Things I've picked up:
My AP Art History teacher won't notice if I'm listening to music instead of taking notes on my laptop.
AP Art Studio II is going to just as great/fun as last year.
AP Physics is going to be hard, but a blast (field trip to Dave and Busters).
AP Calc, AP Lit, and Senior Religion are going to be a blast.
Having a 70 minute lunch period kicks ass.
Being a senior kicks ass.

But I still cannot wait until May 27th (graduation).

Though my year so far has been okay, I'm very much looking forward to graduation on May 28th. Only 259 days to go!

my ap english lit teacher hates students and wants us all to fail. other than that, its great!

may 27/28? i hate you! june 21 over here!

hasn't started yet =).

Starts tomorrow though =(. Our summer was a week longer because a new school is being built in our district.

My calculus teacher is a total toolbox so it looks like im going to be getting some extra sleep 2nd period everyday :)

you guys are so lucky.....
why am i so stressful?!!!!!!!!

but our senior trip was great....can't wait for the prom and the graduation....lolz......

It's all right, although I really don't like my AP lit teacher. Oh well, I want a B/B+ in that class anyway.

My school is retarded and no longer guaranteed parking for seniors, so I'm stuck doing street parking, which means I leave home at 6:45 (class starts at 7:30, and I didn't even want a morning class....government sucks)

I started out hating my AP Lit teacher, too, but she's turning out all right. I think she was just nervous and shy at first and wanted to appear "friendly," which made her look like a ditz. But she's actually pretty smart.

AP Physics C is my favorite class, but it's whipping my ***. Vectors, acceleration, derivative, what? It's fun though.

We made similar threads, wow_98 :-P But mine is for the people having a crappy senior year so far (just like me). It's seriously dreadful.

It is ok so far..... English AP, Christian Service, World AP, and Env. Science AP the first half. Most of my classes/teachers are fun.

My senior 4th marking period ends May 19th. Graduation isn't until June 5th though. In between we have various senior functions: senior picnics, etc.

Yeah, I'm done on the 19th as well. Senior exams the next week (of which I'll be taking a total of zero), and then graduation that Saturday.

I'm annoyed at the parking situation. They're converting our old lot to a new field, so they made us a new lot...unfortunately it's close to other construction going on ($26 million dollar project), so my car's covered in dirt every day. But the new lot is closer to the buildings than the old one, so it's more convenient.

I've got a lot of work to do, and I've only had 4 days of school. Need to start my lab report for AP Physics, need to catch up on a lot of reading for AP Art History, need to read a book by Tuesday for Lit (The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene), need to start on my sketches for AP Studio, and need to do my religion homework (sketch of Plato's cave analogy).
